Etiquette expert Myka Meier said to : “Prince George and Princess Charlotte’s etiquette education likely started as soon as they could attend events with their family.

"It would probably begin with simple training like how to shake hands and curtsy around the age of two. Initial training would likely be given by their mother, The Duchess of Cambridge.”

While there’s plenty to learn about being in the public eye and formal engagements, Prince George, five, and Princess Charlotte, three, are being eased into their training and it’s pretty laidback.

, founder of  continued: “Growing up in the Palace would mean that training is much less a course or official training, and more day-to-day observation and gentle lessons right before an event or when meeting an important guest to help prepare them."

Training is certainly less rigorous than what Meghan Markle will have gone through to prepare for royal life.

We previously reported how Meghan was to be taught how to be an effective royal by the Queen's special adviser.

The new Duchess of Sussex was to be given a helping hand in her induction into the royal family by Samantha Cohen,

The monarch's assistant private secretary had handed in her notice last September.

However it was reported she agreed to stay on as interim private secretary for a further six months, and wasn’t leaving in the summer as planned.

Savannah Phillips tells Prince George to be quiet during Trooping the Colour national anthem

A source told the Times: "It will be six months of listening. It is not going to be quiet, though. It is going to be a very busy office."

In addition to this, Meghan underwent intense security training in preparation for life as a future royal as the wife of Prince Harry.

As part of that preparation she has had to endure the rigours of a series of exercises with the Special Air Service (SAS).

The training is believed to have included how to react in dangerous situations such as a terrorist attack and a mock kidnapping by “hostage takers” using live ammunition.

Meghan Markle is told these crucial things before every engagement, royal etiquette expert reveals.
