CONTROVERSIAL broadcaster Piers Morgan sparked a heated debate on Twitter - after sharing a picture of Daniel Craig using a baby sling.

What is a papoose?
A papoose is a type of bag or sling used to carry an infant child.
The word originated from the Algonquian languages spoken by Native Americans to refer to a young baby or child.
What did Piers Morgan say?
On October 14, Piers Morgan shared a tweet with a picture of James Bond actor Daniel Craig carrying his child in a sling.
In the post, Morgan said: "Oh 007.. not you as well?!!! #papoose #emasculatedBond"
However many blasted the tweet, as Morgan hit back calling papooses "ridiculous" and "emasculating".
He later added on Twitter: "Papoose-gate going global tonight.
"A lot of VERY angry papoose-lovers screaming abuse at me.
"FYI: It won’t change my mind about papooses - they are ridiculous instruments of emasculation."
However his Good Morning Britain co-host Susanna Reid also added to the debate, saying: "No woman has an issue with a man carrying a baby in a papoose. This is YOUR issue."
On October 17, Piers was mocked by Good Morning Britain crew and guests for his hatred of dads carrying their children in baby slings.
His exasperated co-presenter Susanna Reid asked: "What is your ongoing issue with the papoose?"
Explaining his anger towards baby slings, Piers replied: "I just don't like them!"
He then had a pie thrown in his face by comedian Harry Hill on behalf of ‘all the dads who wear papooses’.

What celebs have worn a papoose?
According to , a number of celebrities have been snapped wearing a baby sling to carry their tots.
Former Prime Minister David Cameron used a sling to carry daughter Florence, as did singer P!nk to carry daughter Willow Sage.
Style queen Sarah Jessica Parker has also reportedly used a carried as have Heidi Klum, Kate Blanchett and Orlando Bloom.
