Prince Harry shows solidarity with pregnant wife Meghan Markle by swapping alcohol for water in Fiji
MEGHAN Markle certainly has one devoted partner in Prince Harry.
When the couple attended a reception hosted by the Fijian Prime Minister last night, the 34-year-old made a very touching gesture towards his pregnant wife.
According to , Harry swapped champagne for water, in solidarity with expectant mum Meghan, 37.
Omid tweeted: "Meghan and Harry both toasting with water at tonight's reception (@FIJIWater, natch)."
Royal fans thought the move was a lovely way for Harry to ensure Meghan didn't feel left out.
Comments included: "Nice. Good job Harry supporting Meg during her pregnancy," and: "That's a supportive husband."
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex arrived in Fiji yesterday, as part of their 16-day royal tour of the South Pacific.
Meghan couldn't stop cradling her growing baby bump as she and Harry attended the state banquet at the Grand Pacific Hotel.
The Duchess looked beautiful for the event, choosing to wear a £1,095 cape dress by London-based designer Safiyaa.
The gown was said to be in tribute to Fiji, as the country's flag is the same shade of blue.
Meghan teamed the dress with a pair of black court heels and elegant diamond earrings, which were said to be borrowed from a member of the Royal Family.
Many are speculating that they belong to the Queen.
Her hair was by George Northwood, who also styled her wedding day up-do.
