Prince Charles is said to admire Meghan for how she has coped with family outbursts
MEGHAN Markle and Prince Charles have formed a strong bond because they are “both from dysfunctional families”.
According to , the Prince of Wales is said to be extremely sympathetic towards Meghan’s on-going struggles with her family’s public outbursts.
The source in the Prince’s inner circle revealed: “Because there’s been bad behaviour that’s caused problems in his family, Charles understands how difficult it must be for Meghan. And it has endeared her to him even more.”
They said Charles can understand the complexity in Meghan’s relationship with her relatives, given that the Windsor family has been through “so many traumas and crises… and many divorces”.
And palace insiders are said to compare the Meghan’s strength in the face of hurtful family comments, to Charles enduring public criticism over Princess Diana.
Another source added: “Whatever they felt inside, they’ve both put on a strong public face and not hidden away.”
The strength of their sweet and strong bond was seen in May when Prince Charles walked Meghan down the aisle in the place of her absent father, Thomas Markle.
The future king also has given Meghan a poignant nickname since welcoming her into the fold.
Prince Charles is said to call his daughter-in-law Tungsten, inspired by the tough metal known for its robustness and strength.
According to the Mail on Sunday, the nickname came from Meghan's strength and determination - said to have impressed Prince Charles.
It’s not only Charles that has warmed to Meghan, but also his wife Camilla.
A source said to the publication: “Not least because both of them have joined the Royal Family from the outside. Camilla goes out of her way to find time to spend with her, to get to know her and make her feel welcome.”
Because there’s been bad behaviour that’s caused problems in his family, Charles understands how difficult it must be for Meghan. And it has endeared her to him even more.

Their tight bond is said to have strengthened over the summer, when Prince Charles invited the newlyweds for a Scottish holiday to the Castle of Mey, which was a home of the late Queen Mother.
He was said to be “tickled pink” when the couple joined him for a “joyous” week of coastal walks and bird watching.
Prince William and Kate Middleton were unable to join the family for the break, along with Camilla, who had a holiday with her own children and grandchildren.
