DESIGNER DOUBLE

Mango is selling a black knotted satin bag for £49.99 and it looks just like The Row’s £800 designer version – can you tell the difference?

Want a designer bag for the holiday season? Mango has a purse-friendly dupe that will save you a fortune

LOOKING for a new designer bag for the festive party season?

If you want to save yourself a fortune Mango is selling a near-identical bag to a pricey one from The Row – and you’d do well to tell them apart.

One of these bags costs £800, and the other just £50 – can you spot the difference?

The Row’s Ascot clutch has knotted grab handles inspired by the American company’s headscarves.

The incredible bag is made from 100 per cent silk and with its striking black colour, will go with nearly any dress at Christmas parties.

Sadly, it’s a little out of the average person’s price range, but that doesn’t mean you have to miss out entirely.

This is where Mango has stepped in to save the day as the store is selling a designer double.

Mango has a more purse-friendly £50 version, which is made from satin and has similar decorative knotted handles.

Where the two bags differ is that the Mango one has a magnetic metallic fastening to keep it shut.

Wear it with an evening dress for a full-glam look, or use it as a way of jazzing up a day-time look.

And with £750 saving, who are we to argue?
