Meghan Markle’s Christmas card photo looks weirdly similar to her FIRST wedding invitation
MEGHAN Markle and Prince Harry released their first Christmas card this week - a romantic shot of them watching the fireworks at their wedding reception.
While it's clearly a lovely snap, eagle-eyed fans have noticed that it bears quite a resemblance to another photo of the Duchess of Sussex.
The card shows Meghan and Harry with their backs to the camera as they take in the display at Frogmore House, Windsor.
Meghan's arm is around her new husband's, while his is over the top of hers.
Interestingly, the couple's pose is very similar to the one Meghan and her first husband Trevor Engelson once pulled for their Save the Date.
On Meghan's invitation, she and Trevor also have their backs to the lens - and their arms are in near-identical positions.
They're even looking out at a beautiful view, with the 37-year-old and her former husband gazing towards an ocean.
Trevor and Meghan tied the knot on September 10, 2011 at the Jamaica Inn in Ocho Rios, Jamaica.
The ceremony took place in front of 102 guests.
One said: "The ceremony was over very quickly, in about 15 minutes. Then everyone hit the dance floor. It seemed they all just wanted to party."
Unfortunately for Meghan, the resemblance to her previous wedding invitation isn't the only thing about her festive image that's raised eyebrows.
While many have praised the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's first card as a married couple, some have claimed they've "turned their backs to the public".
The pair unveiled their photo on the same day as Prince William and Kate Middleton.
In stark contrast to the stylish black and white shot, the Cambridges shared a cosy family snap of themselves and their three children relaxing in the woods.
