Meghan Markle expected to buy ‘touching birthday gift’ for Kate Middleton after getting her a ‘dream diary’ in 2017
Meghan pulled out all the stops for Kate's 35th birthday, just after she started dating Prince Harry
NEXT week Kate Middleton will celebrate her 37th birthday, but what do you buy the woman who has it all?
In 2017, Meghan Markle, who was just dating Prince Harry at the time, gave her future sister-in-law a very thoughtful gift for her January celebrations.
According to reports, the first time Prince Harry introduced his then-girlfriend Meghan, to Prince William and Kate, it was around the time of Kate's 35th birthday, which is on January 8.
And Meghan didn't turn up empty handed.
Apparently, Harry and Meghan popped over to Kate and Will's apartment in Kensington Palace, and during the meet, Meghan presented Kate with a very thoughtful gift.
"Meg had bought Kate a small birthday present – a very smart leather-bound ‘dream diary’ for her thoughts and ideas which Kate loved," revealed a pal.
With recent reports of a feud between the two duchesses, it is likely Meghan will pull all the stops out with getting a touching gift this year.
Just before her wedding in May 2018, Meghan gave Kate a bracelet to thank her for helping out.
It was the Kensington Bracelet by Sofia Day Co, which was said to have been gifted to six of Meghan’s best friends and bridesmaids.
The young royals put on a united front for the festive season, despite claims Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton have a tense relationship.
The Duchesses walked side by side with broad smiles on their way to a Christmas service at Sandringham after months of speculation they had clashed.
In one incident, Meghan was even said to have made Kate cry over her strict demands for Princess Charlotte's bridesmaid's dress in the lead up to her May wedding.
