A source told the US publication that The Queen had "reached her limit with all the drama" between the two women.

Rumours of Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle's rift began to circulate late last year when royal sources claimed the Duchess of Cambridge had been "left in tears" over her sister-in-law's strict demands for Princess Charlotte's bridesmaid dress.

But after Kate and Meghan put on a friendly display as they arrived for a Christmas Day church service at Sandringham, The Queen is now said to be "relieved" that they've been able to put aside their differences.

The source added: "She desperately wanted Meghan and Kate to make up and she got her wish."

As the royals gathered at The Queen's home in Sandringham for the Christmas period, the source said: "Being under the same roof meant that they couldn't avoid each other."

What's more, The Sun exclusively revealed that Kate and Meghan even enjoyed a game of Scrabble together after watching The Queen's speech on Christmas Day as they continue to work on their relationship.

An insider revealed: “After watching the Queen’s speech, the board games were brought out and both women got stuck in.

“They were chuckling along together. You wouldn’t know there was any tension between the two. It was a wonderful day and night.”

In more Royal Family news, Meghan Markle "won't have royal baby at same hospital where Kate Middleton did and will give birth in Surrey."

Plus these are all the life changes Prince Harry has had to make to support Meghan Markle through her pregnancy - including NO tea and yoga sessions.

And Meghan Markle is expected to buy "touching birthday gift" for Kate Middleton after getting her a "dream diary" in 2017.
