OUR Fabulous Mum of the Year competition is back - and bigger than ever.
We want to hear from you about why the most special person in your life - or the life of someone close to you - deserves some extra special recognition this Mother's Day.
This year we've split the competition into five categories - Stepmum, Survivor Mum, Single Mum, Foster Mum and All-round Supermum - with each winner receiving a spa break at Champneys worth over £1,000 and a glossy photoshoot with Fabulous magazine.
We are also delighted to welcome our new celebrity judging panel: TV presenter Rochelle Humes, best-selling author Giovanna Fletcher, Good Morning Britain presenter Kate Garraway and Sun columnist Deborah James.
Whether it's overcoming adversity, doing incredible work in her local community, dedicating her life to help children in need, working long hours to support her family or looking so fabulous at 60 that people think she's your sister, we want to hear your stories.
Mum-of-three Giovanna, 33, says: “I’m delighted to be a judge on this competition, as I know how important the job of a mum is.
“I don’t think the role of being a mum is well recognised and it can be a thankless, 24-hour job - and you don’t get medals for it. It’s a lovely thing to have your hard work recognised."
Mum-of-two Rochelle, 33, adds: "The competition is a much-needed chance to honour women doing great things for their families and communities.
"I’m really looking forward to hearing the different stories of the women who have entered, or have been put forward by others.
"I am very excited that we have a category for single mums as my mum was a lone parent. It is so incredibly hard to juggle parenting when you have a partner to lean on, like I have, let alone when it’s your sole responsibility."
Bestselling author Deborah, 37, who has stage 4 bowel cancer, says: “Motherhood has been different for me in some ways, as I have had health issues. My cancer was diagnosed when my children were just nine and seven.
"My experience has been tough but I have lots of people helping me, which makes it seem unimaginable that other mums have to go through health problems without a network of support. I cannot wait to hear the stories of the mums nominated."
Mum-of-two Kate, 51, admits: "It’s going to be impossible to choose a winner!"
The chosen five will be treated to a Fabulous photoshoot in our fantastic studios here at News UK in London*.
Our professional hair and make-up artist and style team will work their magic while you sit back, relax and enjoy a glass of bubbles (or two).
Not only will you have some gorgeous photos to take away, but we'll also treat you to a two-night stay at for two people, including a Deluxe Diamond Dermabrasion facial, at your chosen location.
This facial combines deeply exfoliating Diamond Dermabrasion with LED light therapy to expertly smooth fine lines and improve skin radiance. You’ll experience a soothing face, neck & shoulders massage, plus hands and feet are treated too.
There are also healthy buffet breakfasts, a tasty three-course buffet lunch and delicious evening meals on offer, as well as access to Champneys' top of the range resort facilities.
With a world of relaxation at arm’s length, you’ll leave feeling refreshed, rejuvenated and ultimately, ready to face the world.
Last year's Fabulous Mum of the Year winner was Loran Slape, 61, from Portsmouth, who rescued one daughter from a toxic relationship and nursed the other through a brain tumour.
Loran, 61, said: "Winning Fabulous Mum of the Year was unbelievable! It was so unexpected - I still talk about it now!
"My favourite photo from the shoot has pride of place in my hallway so that everyone who comes will see it. It’s a lovely memory of a very special day.
"Champneys was really lovely. My husband and I visited the Liphook spa - he'd never done a spa before and he was definitely converted! We had the suite which overlooked the lake, it was stunning.
"What mums do often goes unnoticed, so to get the recognition for it means a lot. Even if you don’t win, just to be entered in this wonderful competition shows how much your children think of you."
You have until Monday 25 February to enter, and the winners will be announced on Mother's Day (Sunday 31 March).
