DON'T BANK ON IT

I’ve made £4k by dating rich, older men who also lavish me with Tiffany jewels and posh dinners – but I won’t just hop into bed with them

Jeanine Mitchell, 46, has been single since splitting from her sons' dad 16 years ago

THIS single mum has earned £4,000 in less than a year by charging men to date her - enough to buy a new car and her family's first ever computer.

Jeanine Mitchell, 46, has been single since splitting from her sons' dad 16 years ago - and joined paid-for dating site in March last year.

Since then the executive consultant, from Vancouver, has banked thousands - as well as being bought a Tiffany's necklace and treated to fancy dinners worth hundreds of pounds.

Speaking exclusively to Fabulous Digital, Jeanine said: "I’ve used the money to better mine and my sons’ lives. I had a car which was on its last legs and I was able to upgrade it.

"I’m very frugal, I’m a saver, so I stuck the money away. I was able to buy my sons a home computer for Christmas, which we’ve never had. It’s meant a lot to have a bit of an extra influx."

Jeanine has met 20 men through the site and charged them between £90 and £115 each for a first date. After that, it's up to the blokes whether or not they continue with regular payments.

She said: "Some of them have bought me presents. The man I'm currently dating bought me a Tiffany charm necklace for Christmas.

"I happened to mention it, we were just talking about Breakfast at Tiffany’s, and he gave it to me as a gift.

"I was floored and said it might be a bit too much but he said it was his pleasure and he wanted to do that.

"I'm very upfront saying ‘I love old school chivalry’ and my dates have been in tune with that.

"It doesn’t have to be monetary, maybe flowers or opening doors. They’ve been very kind and it’s much appreciated."

As well as these gifts, Jeanine's been treated to Dinner in the Sky, an incredible experience where your table is suspended 150 ft above ground - overlooking the Vancouver skyline (there's also a London version).

The dinner experience costs £330, while Jeanine has also been taken to pro hockey games and to a concert in a casino, followed by a flutter on the cards.

Jeanine said: "Dinner in the Sky was incredible and something I would never of had the opportunity to do had I not met that man.

"It's lovely unless you need to use the little girls' room. Sadly I only dated that man once, he chose to be with someone younger than myself, but that’s OK.

"It lessens the blow if something doesn’t work out, that there’s always another opportunity.

"I find the men really want to please and to make the dates exciting - they want to make themselves stand out."

Despite profiting on her dates, Jeanine insists she isn't a Sugar Baby - and says she's yet to sleep with any of her online dates.

She said: "I don’t think of myself as a Sugar Baby, that's a continuous payment and being taken care of.

"I think at my age I would hardly be a Sugar Baby. I’m very independent and self sufficient.

"I am not opposed to a sexual relationship, but nothing’s gone that far to date. I don't want to hop into bed right away.

"I am open to it and I’m currently seeing someone regularly who I think it could be a potential with but we’ll see, time will tell."

Although some blokes do expect sex after paying for a date, Jeanine is keen to stick to her morals.

She said: "That's always been a turn-off for me, regardless of how you meet."

Most of the blokes Jeanine has dated are between the ages of 40 and 55 - and she insists she is looking for a long-term match, despite the cash incentive.

She said: "It is partly about the money, but I also really like the platform.

"I live in the most expensive place in Canada and I really sensed my age group of men were very jaded, not chivalrous and think women are gold diggers.

"I found it very hard to date the regular way. The men on WYP are really willing to put it all out there.

"There were two men I dated longer-term who insisted on being generous, but I cut ties because they told me they were married - that's where I have to draw the line.

"I think they were overcompensating with money and they weren't upfront about being married. I don't want to be a mistress, I really want to find a companion.

"I only date one guy at a time, just like regular dating, I don’t think it’s fair to be planting seeds everywhere."

Despite loving her experience, Jeanine hasn't opened up to her friends and family about how she's meeting her dates, because she's worried about being judged.

She said: "I would hate to have to justify myself. I don’t think the platform is for everybody and it may give the wrong impression.

"I’m drama free and I choose to stay that way."
