Meghan Markle refused to open any presents at her baby shower because she wanted to do it with Harry

MEGHAN Markle didn't open any of her presents at her £383,000 New York baby shower, one of her guests has revealed.
American TV host Gayle King was among the chosen few at the baby bash and said Meghan, 37, was waiting to open her gifts back in London with Prince Harry.
The 64-year-old host told her CBS This Morning colleagues: "She didn't open any of the gifts because she wants to do that when she goes back to London, when she and [Prince] Harry are back together.
"I don't know what everybody got.
"I think I got something I think is very nice. But you know, she's a very private person. I think she should decide what she wants to say about this."
Concierges were pictured loading Meghan's collection of gifts into a van to be taken to a luxury £98,500 private jet for the six-hour journey to London - paid for by Amal Clooney.
Gayle gushed about the extravagant occasion and said the luxurious baby shower was on a different to scale to what she’d experienced before.
She said: "I hope she won't mind me sharing this because I've never seen anything like this at a baby shower.
"They did flower decorations. They had flower arranging, they brought in somebody to explain how to arrange flowers.
"We all each made an individual vase.”
The flowers were then donated to different charities via an organisation called Repeat Roses, who send flowers to places such as cancer treatment centres, homeless shelters and mental health facilities.
Gayle added: “I thought that was a very sweet thing… It just speaks to who she is. She's kind, she's very generous. And a really, really sweet person."
Meghan flew out of New York on Wednesday after the event on a private jet, and the trip was her first back to the States since she married Prince Harry in May 2018.
Numerous big names attended the Upper East Side baby shower, and the celebration was hosted by Serena Williams, Jessica Mulroney and Genevieve Hillis, who has been Meghan’s best pal since they were 17.
Other guests to attend included Amal Clooney and her Suits co-star Abigail Spencer.
The A-list group stayed at America's most expensive hotel room at The Mark Hotel and is described as "A Castle in the Sky".
The penthouse room is 10,000 square-feet and has an additional 2,500 square-feet of terrace, overlooking Central Park in the Big Apple.
It boasts of five bedrooms, four fireplaces, six bathrooms, two powder rooms, two wet bars, a dining room, a conservatory, and a living room that can be ";transformed into a full-size Grand Ballroom", as described by the hotel.
Designer suitcases costing £230 a pop, harpist Erin Hill who has played for Kanye West and a candy floss machine were just some of the upscale items seen being wheeled in.
