Benefits mum-of-10 who has ‘NEVER used a condom’ vows she’ll have ‘no more babies’
Sonya O'Loughlin, from Southampton, said she knows the dangers of giving birth as many times as she has
A SINGLE mum on benefits who's "never used a condom" has vowed to have "no more babies" after welcoming her tenth child.
Sonya O'Loughlin, from Southampton, said she knows the dangers of giving birth as many times as she has - and says her latest labour with baby Daniel was fraught with difficulties.
The brave mum had just her eldest Nicola, 19, for support as she was admitted to hospital and induced, when Daniel's heart rate dropped dramatically.
But, with just two pushes at the end of a gruelling 13-hour labour, her son completed Sonya's mega family.
The huge brood - which is made up of Nicola, 19, Leah, 17, Shannon, 16, Keon, 14, Erin, 13, Kye, 10, Cana, seven, Lewis, five, Lexi, one, and baby Daniel - live together in a four-bed council flat.
Appearing on 5Star's documentary Me and My 10 Kids: Mega Families, Sonya insisted she wouldn't have any more kids and was thinking of going back to school.
Sonya said: "My kids don't believe me that I'm not going to have anymore babies, but I ain't having no more babies.
"Whatever comes next is going to be different because I'm not going to be pregnant.
"It's not going to be about me, it's not going to be about a new baby, we're all going to enjoy what we've got and see what comes next.
"It's about time something different happened."
Discussing her plans to enrol on a painting and decorating course, with the view to starting her own business, she said: "I have been a mum for 18 years and I think it would benefit my sanity if I learned something new.
"I didn't do very well at school so it does scare me a bit, but I'm willing to give it a try."
But the stay-at-home mum, who lives on benefits including £460-a-week tax credit, blasted critics who claim her life is easy.
She said: "People say I haven't got a proper job but I would love to see people do my job. They would quit after just one day."
Sonya spends £179-a-week on rent and £130 on food each week.
She told the cameras: "I have to buy everything in bulk. My money all goes on the children. It never goes in my back pocket."
It's unsurprising that mornings in the O'Loughlin household can be pretty hectic, with the kids taking turns to eat breakfast because they only have three bowls.

Added to that, the kids have to wash their faces and brush their teeth in the kitchen due to a blocked bathroom sink - making getting ready even more chaotic.
Sonya previously slammed the public for judging her in an exclusive chat with Sun Online.
