Millionaire’s son, 24, who only wears Versace, spends £20k on holidays and has a maid shocks skint mum after asking what a colander is

AS AN aspiring rapper, Navid Sole is more likely to be found spending thousands following Nicki Minaj on her European tour than stuck in a cramped council flat.
But for two nights the 24-year-old – who is also a qualified pharmacist – swaps his Versace bedspread and maid to experience life on the breadline in Channel 5’s Rich Kids Go Skint.
Navid is shown another side of life when he leaves behind his parents’ multi-million north London mansion and heads to west London to meet Queen and Shawn and their two-year-old Simone.
Both parents work hard to keep their heads above water, but life is a constant financial struggle living just a few roads away from Grenfell Tower, and know all too well about the divide between rich and poor.
They’re left with just £126 a month spare for themselves a month and have a £50-a-week budget for food.
It’s a strikingly different tale for Navid who has spent thousands of pounds decking himself out in Versace clothes, he sleeps in Versace bedding, and even eats off Versace dinner plates.
This rich kid travels around the world, first class of course, to see his favourite artists perform, even paying a premium to gain entry to meet-and-greet events with the stars.
The newly graduated pharmacist, who originally hails from Italy and has a hot tub in his en-suite, has never lifted a finger at home including learning to cook or even wash the pots.
After being shown around Queen’s cosy home and gifting the family with a set of designer plates, he confesses that he has zero skills in the kitchen and fails to correctly identify what a colander is when tasked with draining spaghetti.
“I must say I have never met anyone that doesn’t know what a colander is, I’ll try and not baffle him with science later when it gets to the rice cooker and grater,” the mum-of-one jokes.
I’m going to hug my helper and kiss her on the cheek

Navid has to sleep on their sofa, which he admits gives him “palpitations” at the thought of not having his Versace pillowcase to keep him comfortable.
Queen cares for her daughter full-time during the week while Shawn works, with the pair swapping roles at the weekend.
Their family time is spent in the park close to their home, which is in stark contrast to Navid who boasts of jetting off at least three or four times in a single month.
“The best one I’ve been to is when I went with my parents to Brazil and Argentina, it was roughly around £20,000. That was the best holiday, we flew in first class and stayed in five-star hotels in both places,” he tells an awestruck Queen.
The full-time mum describes her life growing up in one of London’s richest boroughs unable to afford the cost of living, and her worries about being priced out of her community.
Queen shares an emotional moment with Navid as she tells of the morning she woke up to hear of the Grenfell Tower tragedy: “Everyone that lives in the north Kensington community, we all feel like it could have been us.
“Many of those families have been living there for generations, it’s an old community, a lot of us that live in the estates and in social housing we really felt it. People have lost their lives, their homes, everything, in one night.
“I have to say I am so proud of my community and the way we come together.”
Navid says: “Hearing that kind of story and knowing how many people suffered from that. Words can’t really describe the emotion that someone will be going through.”
The pair form a tight bond as she teaches him basic cooking skills and he admits he can’t wait to show off to his parents at home.

“I’ve really learned a lot, like cleaning the plates was a bit difficult for me but cooking I really enjoyed. I want to take some of that home and impress my parents. But overall it was a lot of work.”
Navid adds that he’s learned to appreciate how privileged he is: “I’m going to hug my helper and kiss her on the cheek, tell her I appreciate her and all the hard work she is doing.”
After thanking them for their hospitality, he promises to accompany the family to a trip Chessington, but for now his main priority is splashing £4,500 on nine VIP diamond packages watching Nicki Minaj.
Rich Kids Go Skint airs Tuesday on 5STAR at 9pm
We previously spoke to a millionaire lad who swapped flash cars and Rolexes for a week with a struggling single mum on a Salford estate – and was left reeling by a trip to a food bank.
While this 21-year-old was shocked to learn the single mum she stayed with doesn’t have a dishwasher – and admitted she’s ‘terrified’ to walk around the rundown neighbourhood.
