Prince Harry is ‘purposely never photographed alone with Prince George’, royal commentator claims
DAD-to-be Prince Harry is weeks away from welcoming his first child into the world, and has proven over the years he is great with kids.
The Duke of Sussex, 33, is very close to his niece and nephews – but surprisingly never seems to be photographed alone with Prince George.
According to royal writers Kaitlin Menza and Lisa Ryan there could be a reason why this is the case.
Speaking on the Royally Obsessed podcast, they observed: “We’ve never once seen Prince Harry interacting with Prince George. They’ve never been photographed together."
Lisa added: “[This] is not because of tension with a five-year-old, I think it was on purpose because Harry was single and they didn’t want him like ‘poor old spinster Harry playing with a baby on the grass’.
“We never see that.”
Prince Harry and his sweet nephew may not be pictured alone, but there are a number of shots in a group setting.
One such occasion was the photo taken to commemorate the 70th birthday of Prince Charles, and the Duke and Duchess of Sussex were pictured alongside Prince William, Kate Middleton and their three kids.
Prince Harry is not only happily married now but Meghan is to give birth next month, and anticipation is building as to whether she will have a boy or a girl.
And royal watchers are now speculating whether the couple are expecting a girl after bookies have slashed the odds on Prince Harry and Meghan welcoming a daughter.
While many have ventured a guess at the baby’s gender it is thought that Meghan and Prince Harry will wait until after the baby is born before finding out the sex, as most royals have done.
Thankfully we won’t have long to ponder as the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s baby is expected in April.
