Hardworking Meghan Markle has already made plans to return from maternity leave after SIX MONTHS in October
IT may just be a matter of weeks until Prince Harry and Meghan Markle welcome their new arrival - but the Duchess of Sussex is already thinking ahead of when she's going to return from maternity leave.
According to , the former Suits actress will make her first public appearance following the birth of the royal baby in October.
The Duchess of Sussex is planning on attending the One Young World summit in London which brings together 10,000 of the world's youngest and most inspirational leaders.
A source told the publication: "All being well with the baby, the timing is perfect for her to expand her Commonwealth work through this new One Young World partnership with the Queen's Commonwealth Trust.
"Harry is keen to support Meghan in developing her own role and the opportunity to partner with a cause so close to her heart is an ideal stepping stone."
What's more, her first official engagement after becoming a mother will hold even more significance for Meghan as she has worked closely with the charity since 2014 - long before she met Prince Harry.
And while she's due to give birth in only a matter of weeks, the Duchess of Sussex has thrown herself into her royal duties in recent months - and it hasn't gone unnoticed.
Last month, it was revealed the The Queen had written Meghan a touching thank you note after the couple jetted off to Morocco on a Royal tour of Morocco during her third trimester.
In an interview with , a palace aide revealed: "The Queen is amazed by the Duchess' energy and stamina given that she is heavily pregnant.
"For The Queen and her generation, you generally hid your bump and put your feet up in this stage of pregnancy but Meghan hasn't stopped."
