Bridezilla releases strict checklist for bridesmaids to follow ahead of the big day, including having a French manicure and exfoliating before tanning
Some brides-to-be thought it was pretty useful, while others were not impressed
A BRIDE-TO-BE has been criticised online for creating a "checklist" for her bridesmaids in the run up to her wedding - with requests including "wearing shoes in" and having a spray tan.
But while the bride has been slammed by some social media users, others have admitted the list is actually pretty useful.
Shared on a Facebook wedding shaming group, the list - titled Bridesmaid Checklist - features 16 points to adhere to.
"Exfoliation of skin before tan," the first line reads.
"Spray tan... please book yourselves in for the Wednesday or Thursday (I want everyone the same).
"When getting tan wear loose clothes and flip flops and leave bra straps off.
"Finger nails to be French manicure, shellac or normal, whatever you decide.
"I don't have a preference for toe nails whatever you like yourselves.
"Bra, with no or clear straps or some of you may not need a bra.
"Comfortable underwear, to rise above belly button so it's not visible.
"Keep wearing shoes in.
"If shoes are uncomfortable you may need to buy some padding or some gel footsies.
"PJs for the morning, please ensure your top is loose or is a button top as you don't damage hair and make-up.
"For morning: Slippers, sliders, slipper socks.
"You may need a little handbag/clutch for yourselves for money, phone, lippie etc.
"Second pair of shoes for the evening if you wish, I have flip flops if you are stuck.
"Next day clothes, overnight suitcase, toothbrush etc.
"Lorraine has kindly offered to put together some snacks to have for in-between the church and venue as we may be hungry we can eat in the car.
"Continue to wear in your shoes."
The detailed list has been slammed by some on Facebook, with one commenting: "I don't wear heels and don't do spray tan, so this is really beyond me.
"Also, forcing everyone to have the same nails? Ugh... where I'm from, the bride barely even asks her BMs to wear similar dresses."
While another wrote: "I would NEVER wear a bra another adult told me to wear.
"I'm good at picking out my own underwear too, thanks."
The majority of comments, however, were from impressed users who admitted they would have been "glad" of a list like this from their bride.
One said: "I'm totally down with this list and would very much appreciate it.
"That way I'm not freaking out about what I need to do/remember.
"It's written very respectfully I think and doesn't seem 'bridezilla'.
"I respect that the bride has a look she wants for her photos and wedding in general.
"I wouldn't agree to be a bridesmaid if I wasn't going to do whatever the bride wanted (within reason of course)."
Another pointed out: "I love this she's really taking care and covering the small details, I would legit NEED someone like this."
