Kate Middleton’s mum Carole tipped for TV series after Victoria creator raves about her ‘extraordinary life’
A dramatisation of Carole Middleton's fascinating life could soon be gracing our TV screens
CAROLE Middleton could have a TV show made about her life.
As mum to Kate Middleton, mother-in-law to Prince William and nan to Princes George and Louis and Princess Charlotte she is undoubtedly interesting.
And now Royal writer Daisy Goodwin wants to pen a television drama about her life.
Daisy, who wrote the series Victoria, said Carole, 64, is the ideal subject for a drama.
She told the : “People ask me if I’d like to write a drama about Harry and Meghan but I actually think I would like to write about Carole Middleton.
“Carole has an extraordinary story. She is a very, very interesting woman and she deserves a series."
Carole, Married to Michael Middleton, lives in Bucklebury, Berkshire - not far from Reading.
She grew up in West London and was eager to be a teacher.
But her family couldn't afford to send her to college, so she became a BA flight attendant.
However, her business Party Pieces - selling party accessories, which recently celebrated 30 years - took off.
t made her and husband millionaires, enabling her to send her three children - Kate, Pippa and James - to private schools.
In an interview with , which took place close to the family home, Bucklebury Manor, Carole spoke about her children.
"My biggest fear was that I’d lose my family, but we’ve stayed close," she revealed
"There are times when they say, 'Can you do this, or that?' and I can’t quite. But they like the fact that I work.
"I’d like to find space to do more stuff I love, but my family are paramount."
