Elizabeth is now the favourite name for Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s baby after a flurry of bets
The Duchess of Sussex is due to give birth any week now...
PREGNANT Meghan Markle could give birth at any moment with the Duchess previously revealing she was due in April.
The 37-year-old is expecting her first baby with Prince Harry, although there is no confirmation on the gender.
As her due date approaches, there has been a flurry of bets on one name - Elizabeth.
The same name as the baby's grandmother, the royal name is now the most popular girl's name.
Bookies have slashed the odds from 16/1 to just 6/1, with Diana a close second, with odds of 8/1.
Both popular choices for royals, Princess Charlotte's middle names include both Elizabeth and Diana.
Alex Apati, of Ladbrokes, said: "It's no coincidence that punters backing the royal baby to be born on the Queen's birthday are expecting Harry and Meghan to opt for 'Elizabeth' on the name front.
"Meghan's due date is desperately close to the Queen's birthday and the stars might just align for the latest royal arrival."
The couple could also end up with another touching tribute to the Queen, with Baby Sussex's arrival possibly falling on her birthday.
