Which means you can access movies right back from the 1920s, including classics like Dumbo, Bambi and 1937 fairy tale Snow White, the first feature-length movie made.

Or you can indulge yourself with more recent hits like Frozen, Monsters Inc and Toy Story.

Up until now, Disney fans could only buy old movies on DVD for a limited period of time, long after they left the big screen.

After that they were locked in the Disney vault until they were given a rerun, often as an anniversary special.

But CEO Bob Iger has revealed that if you sign up to Disney+, you’ll have an endless supply.

Speaking at an investor's meeting in St Louis' he said: "The service, which is going to launch later in the year, is going to combine what we call library product, movies, and television, with a lot of original product as well, movies and television.

"And at some point fairly soon after launch it will house the entire Disney motion picture library, so the movies that you speak of that traditionally have been kept in a “vault” and brought out basically every few years will be on the service.

“And then, of course, we’re producing a number of original movies and original television shows as well that will be Disney-branded."

Fresh content will include a new Star Wars series The Mandalorian, directed by Jon Favreau, as well as a Marvel Loki series.

You will still have to wait a year before new Disney movies hit the service though.

Iger added: “It’s going to combine both the old and the new.

“All of the films that we’re releasing this year, [starting] with Captain Marvel , will also be on the service.”

The date of the launch is yet to be confirmed but it is expected to be later this year and Iger has promised the cost will be "substantially below where Netflix is.”
