MEGHAN Markle and Prince Harry have been keeping the sex of their baby under wraps.
But Serena Williams may have let it slip that the couple are expecting a girl.
The 37-year-old tennis ace, mum to one-year-old Alexis Olympia, is a close friend of the Duchess of Sussex and hosted her New York baby shower in February.
In an interview aired on E! News this week she was asked to give her advice for new mothers.
She began talking about a pregnant “friend” who has big plans for her baby - and referred to the tot as “she.”
She said mums should: “Accept mistakes and don't expect to be perfect. We put so much pressure on ourselves.
“My friend is pregnant and she's like, ‘Oh, my kid's gonna do this,’ and I just looked at her and I was like, ‘No, she's not.’”
Serena didn’t name Meghan, 37, but it led to speculation that she was talking about her most famous pregnant friend and had inadvertently spilled a secret.
She moved on quickly saying that she “had all those high expectations” for motherhood that she had to let go.
“Everything is not going to go as planned,” she said. “You've just got to go with the flow”
The friends have stayed close since Meghan moved to the UK and Serena was at the royal wedding in May.
She also joked that she was sending Pampers “across the pond”for the royal mum-to-be after becoming an ambassador for the brand.

Yesterday the couple shared a romantic picture on their new Instagram page saying they had been inundated with presents from well-wishers.
The due date for the baby has not been revealed but it's believed to be late April or early May.
The formal announcement said the couple were “'very pleased to announce that The Duchess of Sussex is expecting a baby in the Spring of 2019”.
Whatever the gender people are already laying bets on the baby's name - with Arthur and Diana coming top.
