Woman shares rave review of lipstick she claims stayed flawless even when she slammed against her airbag during a car crash
Make-up artist Jeffree Star saw the woman's tweet and offered to send her some freebies
A WOMAN has raved about her Jeffree Star lipstick - after it stayed intact following a car crash.
"Shaken and sore" Taryn Elise shared a photo of herself post-crash on , and her make-up looks flawless.
Taryn, from Chicago, USA, explained her beloved ice-blue Mini Cooper had been involved in a serious wreck which caused the airbags to deploy.
She says she was hit in the face with the inflatable at "200mph" - which left a perfect lipstick mark on the bag.
Taryn wrote on Twitter: "If anyone is curious about how well @JeffreeStar lipstick holds up - I was just in a car accident and there are lipstick marks on the airbag but my face is OK."
Taryn revealed she was wearing the Velour Liquid Lipstick, in shade unicorn blood, which costs £16.
Despite being devastated about her car, which was the first one she ever owned, she said: "The clear lipstick stain on the airbag was too funny not to laugh at.
"I wasn't hurt, and insurance is going to do their thing with my car, so I might as well see the bright side!
"I mean, when I kissed my fiancé goodbye this morning not a single bit of product transferred to his face, but the airbag had almost a perfect lip print sooo I had to!"
She later confirmed her doctors had given her the all-clear, and she recalled the crash saying everything "happened so fast".
Taryn added: "[I] felt the impact, then all I could see was the airbag in my face. Smoke everywhere, glasses flew across the dash- scary!
"My face took on an airbag and survived!! Never experienced that and uh - 0/10 do not recommend."
Her tweet has since gone viral, being liked more than 69,000 times.
People have commented not only does her make-up look on point, but her glasses must be made of strong stuff too - and her phone also survived the crash well enough to take photos.
