A MUM has revealed how she was able to completely transform her dated kitchen into a sleek modern paradise for less than £60.
Jodie McGeoch, who lives in Colne, Lancashire, shared her dramatic before and after photos on the Facebook group, .
In the first image Jodie’s kitchen consists of tired pine units and a dreary vinyl worktop covering.
But the second image sees the area transformed into a bright and airy space thanks to nothing more than a lick of paint and a fresh worktop cover.
Captioning her pictures Jodie wrote: “Thought I'd share my cheap kitchen transformation!!!!
“I applied Marble Fablon from B&M to worktops, cost me £26. Then I found some new paint in B&Q called multi-surface paint so I bought 2 750ml tins to try £32.
“And this is the result. £58 plus a few quid for making tape, roller and brushes. All done myself I now have a beautiful grey marble kitchen without spending thousands.”
Her post has received over 7,000 likes it was shared yesterday, as well as thousands of comments from impressed mums.
“Wow what a difference! Well done” commented one mum, while another added “Omg that looks so professional well done.”
Tagging their partner a third added: “Maybe we can get our dream colour kitchen without paying wren kitchen prices after all!”
After being asked questions about her revamp Jodie later added: “No I didn't use primer the paint is self-priming, no I didn’t sand them down I just cleaned them and dried them. Colour of paint is Delaware Satin.”
It comes just a week after savvy homeowners shared the incredible transformations they've achieved for just a few pounds.
Using masking tape and tester pots of paint, which can be bought for as little as 10p, people have created incredible abstract designs.
The trend is taking off online, with people sharing their new feature walls on Facebook's Extreme Couponing and Bargains Group.

Another person went for a pink-theme, repainting her kitchen.
Revealing her multi-coloured design, she wrote: "Wanted to update my kitchen, a few tester pots of paint and masking tape."
And sharing her greyscale wall, another person revealed they managed to redecorate for under a fiver.
She said: "Did our kitchen feature wall using 10p tester pots from B&Q! Whole wall cost about £3!"
Elsewhere a mum has revealed how she used a £1.50 denture cleaner to get stains out of her suede dining room chairs in minutes.
A mum spent an afternoon chopping up all her vegetables for the year, including 20kg of potatoes, 15kg of carrots and 10kg of onions.
