AS any parent of young children will know, those first few weeks often flew by in a sleep-deprived blur.

And it now appears that the same goes for Royalty after Prince Harry admitted on Monday afternoon that he's had "about two hours sleep" since Baby Sussex's arrival.

The proud father could hardly contain his excitement as he confirmed the happy news during an interview in the grounds of Windsor Castle.

Smiling to cameras, the beaming father said he was "incredibly proud" of his wife Meghan and described the birth as "the most amazing experience I could ever possibly imagine".

Unable to hide his excitement, Prince Harry happily told reporters off-camera: "I've had about two hours' sleep."

What's more, reports that the new dad enjoyed joking around with the crew after the cameras stopped rolling.

A cameraman is believed to have apologised to the Duke for not wearing a tie, to which Harry replied: "You're a cameraman, you can get away with it."

Much to the delight of Royal fans, Prince Harry also confirmed during the short interview that the couple will introduce Baby Sussex to the world on Wednesday.

He added: "We will be seeing you guys in two days time, as planned as a family, to share with you guys so everybody can see the baby."
