The mum added coffee and water in a handy spray bottle

Combining coffee and warm water in a spray bottle, the mum revealed she’d also been using the formula to remove bin odours, too.

“Who knew coffee and warm water in a spray bottle takes away bin odours and shines up the wooden coffee table and TV unit,” she wrote on the group.

And speaking to Australian publication , the cleaning guru explained she’d sprayed the mixture onto her floor and her coffee table to remove light marks and “bring the nice brown back”.

“Rub it on the marks of the floor to get rid of the light marks,” she explained.

It made her table good as new

“I thought to bring the nice brown back on my table, just use coffee in a spray bottle.”

And it seems other mums have been impressed with the hack, after the post was flooded with hundreds of comments.

One called it “the best odour killer” explaining it had removed “fish juice” from her car carpet.

While another praised the mum for her “incredibly resourceful and sustainable hack”.

“Makes sense! Coffee neutralises smells,” said another user.

“That’s why when you are buying perfume they have bowls of coffee beans to sniff between perfumes!”

One explained they even use Turkish coffee in the fridge to absorb other smells.

Will you be trying the two-in-one hack?
