A WOMAN has hailed a simple skin oil for clearing up her acne scars in a matter of months, after endlessly struggling to get rid of the red marks with painful skin peels.
Georgie Stevenson, 25, from Queensland, Australia, said she went 'through hell and back' after two bouts of adult acne left her with scars all over her face.
After her first spell with acne, Georgie had painful in-clinic skin treatments for the scars, including skin needling and chemical peels - but after it returned for a second time, she looked for a new remedy.
"Luckily for me the second lot didn't last too long, but I was left with scars AGAIN," she explained on Instagram. "I wanted to try something less invasive to heal them this time."
The law graduate admitted she accidentally came across Glory Oil, by Australian brand , after seeing others online saying it minimised scars and 'restores' skin.
"I have been using the oil for four months day and night, and I am so impressed with the results," she added. "My scars and pigmentation have faded so much."
She posted her happy review alongside photos of her face this month, and before in January, showing a visible difference in redness and dark spots after using the oil.
And Georgie isn't the only one to have raved about the product, which costs £39.95 - as many others from across the globe have admitted to using the oil on scars, psoriasis and eczema with great success.
Mum Kerry Caruana, from the Gold Coast, used the oil on her daughter Eden, 2, who was suffering from painful eczema across her face.
"Eden had patches on her chest, back and face and her face gets pretty bad. One day her face was so bad that it looked like sunburn," the 36-year-old told .
- Glory Oil, Eco by Sonya Driver at Glow Organic, £39.95 -
"It was extremely red, hot and so sore for her and she kept pointing to her face and saying "owie" - it was so hard seeing her in pain like that and pointing at it while crying."
To try and ease the pain, Kerry used steroid creams, oatmeal baths and other 'natural' branded products, but nothing seemed to help Eden's skin longer than a matter of days.
She decided to try out Glory Oil, which the mum already used on her own face, which she claims made a difference within only '30 or 40 minutes'.
"By the next morning there was only a small pale area of eczema left," she added. "The Glory Oil keeps her eczema at bay for days, and I put it on her three times a week."
In other news, a girl, 9, with eczema so severe she couldn't eat or sleep is 'cured' by a miracle chemotherapy drug.
