GET THE GLOW

‘Heaven in a jar’ £26 body oil promises a streak-free tan in seconds – and a bottle sells every 45 seconds

SHOPPERS around the world are going crazy for a £26 body oil that promises the perfect sun-kissed glow in seconds, even in the cloudy British weather.

And it's so popular that Australian beauty brand Bali Oil sells a bottle of the good stuff once every 45 seconds, as thousands hail the four-and-a-half-star product as 'heavenly'.

"It's like heaven in a jar," one happy customer wrote on the product's review page. "It leaves my skin soft and hydrated with a satin glow - it changes the appearances of my skin tone."

Not only does the oil moisturise dry legs and promise to rid of dry skin, it also promises to help shed cellulite and reduce scarring.

And it's all thanks to the inclusion of coconut oil, which penetrates deep into the skin, and grape seed oil, which tightens the skin, in the brands secret recipe.

While Bali Body wouldn't have been known just a few years ago, it now has a following of over one million users, and they've dubbed themselves 'Australia's number one skincare range'.

One woman said of the tanner: "I bought this last week and I apply it before going to bed - I normally do not go out without makeup but my skin was so pretty I didn't feel like wearing any."

"I had no idea it would be this amazing," another agreed. "Tanning my face used to make me break out, but this has actually made my skin better."

While the brand boasts thousands of happy customers, not everyone is convinced by their latest addition of the Shimmering Body Oil.

"The product made me feel very hot and wasn't smooth as I had hoped," one person wrote of the product. "It was a bit sticky and I felt like I had to wash it off."

"While it smells great, it makes you feel really greasy," another added. "If you're naturally pale like me, it's not shimmery unless you're in direct light and looks more like a tanning lotion."
