Mum-of-four claims her £3 organisation station gets her kids ready for school in minutes
TRYING to get your children dressed and ready for school is a daily battle parents have to battle with on an everyday basis.
Well if you’re fed up of negotiating with your little one over what outfit they’ll wear everyday, then one mum’s genius parenting hack may be about to come to the rescue of your manic mornings.
An Australian mum-of-four – who runs the blog – relies on a £3 boxes she bought in Kmart to get her children ready school in a matter of minutes.
Each night, the mum folds the clothes her children will be wearing for school the next day and places them in two boxes with their pictures on.
That way in the mornings, her four children know exactly what they’re wearing and get dressed without a fuss.
Singing the praises of her new parenting prep, the mum told the : “I do it when the kids are asleep and I have the time instead of amidst the chaos of mornings.
“It saves time and energy, stops me repeating myself over and over and stops the expectation that the kids think I will dress them.”
The blogger’s four children are now totally used to their new routine and head straight to their boxes when they’ve finished breakfast.
The busy mum added: “They even try and race each other. It is equally productive and beneficial for both parent and children.”
What’s more, the mummy blogger also uses the system in the evenings too by folding up her children’s PJs in the boxes.
Delighted by how well her four young children have embraced their new routine, the mum said: “I’m super proud of them and sometimes wonder if I am asking too much of them to be fully dressing themselves at this age but they are proving they are more than capable.”
