Shoppers are convinced Poundland’s King In A Million Father’s Day spray smells just like Paco Rabanne’s £58 scent
FATHER'S Day is just around the corner - but if you can't afford to splash out on a fancy gift, we have some good news.
One shopper has taken to social media to claim Poundland is selling a bottle of aftershave that smells just like Paco Rabanne's 1 Million.
Posting an image of the £1 scent on , the woman wrote: "Picked up this beaut from Poundland!
"In the Father’s Day section didn’t expect anything from it with it being so cheap but I kid you not it smells just like million!
"Going back tomorrow to buy a few... £1!!
"Just compared it to my partner's real million he can’t tell the difference.
"It might not last as long as the real thing but who cares for that price you can reapply it every ten minutes!"
The 100ml aftershave is £57 cheaper than the same size bottle of Paco Rabanne 1 Million and other shoppers couldn't wait to get their hands on the bargain scent, with one explaining it's one of the only dupes her husband will wear.
"My husband is really fussy he will only wear the real stuff but this one he was impressed with."
Another said: "Got my partner this cos it smells exactly like the real stuff" while one commented: "My boys have this and it really does smell like the million."
One person even revealed they bought it as a "joke present" before going back for more.
"I bought it as a joke for my partner for Vday, saying 'here's a million I can afford' and after we smelt it [we] couldn't believe it so I went back [and] bought four more."
Several mentioned that the budget high-street store does a copy of Joop, with a number of users commenting on its likeness.
"They also do a copy of Joop. Called Jape. Smells nice. I wear the copy one million for men as its so nice. "
Would you buy the bargain scent?
