A WOMAN has revealed how she has had her £5,000 boob job removed after her implants reduced her sex drive.
Sarah Hyde, who had the operation five years ago, had an explant earlier this year after becoming convinced it had "poisoned" her body, causing a host of health issues.
The Australian, who is training to become a health coach, revealed on that she believes the surgery has since caused depression, fatigue, food intolerances, low libido and stopped her period.
In a post to her 27.4k followers, she wrote: "Over the past 3 years I have been suffering from so many unexplained symptoms from food intolerances, depression, easily fatigued, IBS and bloating, no period for 4 years, low libido, brain fog, muscle weaknesses!"
Revealing that she had spent £1,000 on trying to find the source of the problem, she continued: "I have been in and out of naturopaths, seeing doctors, specialists, kinesiologists and doing everything I can to heal myself mentally and physically and get to the bottom of my health problems!"
Sarah revealed she then stumbled across the stories of women online who claimed to be suffering from "illness" due to breast implants and who had been experiencing the same symptoms.
"I had been getting slowly poisoned by 40 different chemicals and heavy metals," she said.
In another post, following her explant procedure, she revealed: "I instantly felt like a weight had been lifted!
"I’ve been resting a lot so my body and cells can do their magic and heal me!"
But she insisted she didn't want to "alarm" anyone and simply wanted to "bring more awareness to this illness".
Sarah added: "I believe boobies of all shapes and sizes are beautiful and women are free to make their own decisions just aware and educated ones!
"I wish I knew this earlier!! This has truly taught me a big lesson and that’s to fully love and appreciate my body to nourish it & be aware of what I put in my body!!
"And that I am ENOUGH with or without breast implants!!!
"I’m so proud of myself & so grateful to have these implants out & have my BOOBIES back!!"
Sarah has received hundreds of well-wishes from her followers who commented that she looked "amazing" and was "inspiring" opening up about her journey.
