TK Maxx shoppers horrified by £60 ceramic statue of Kate Middleton, Prince George and Princess Charlotte which looks NOTHING like the Royals

NO matter how much we love them, there's no denying that Royal Family memorabilia can be a little on the naff side.

Whether you still drink your morning brew out of the collectable Prince William and Kate Middleton engagement mugs (guilty as charged) or bought a Royal Wedding swimsuit last year, turns out these are NOTHING compared to a bizarre new Cambridge family figurine.

That's right, TK Maxx is currently flogging a porcelain statue of Kate Middleton, Prince George and Princess Charlotte for £60.

And we're not even exaggerating when we say they bear no resemblance to the trio at all.

The commemorative figurine is inspired by the Cambridge family's 2015 Christmas card where a six-month-old Princess Charlotte was pictured perching on her mother's knee.

Meanwhile, her older brother Prince George beams happily at the camera in a sweet festive jumper while Kate hugs them close.

However, this spooky statue has pretty much ruined that picture for us forever thanks to the creepy coloured eyes and perfectly flushed cheeks.

Spotting the "young royals" figurines in her local branch, Twitter user Amelia Perrin wrote: "Sometimes TK Maxx out TK Maxxes itself.

"£60. Arguably the worst thing I've ever laid eyes upon."

Unsurprisingly, other users were horrified by the spooky design.

One replied: "Eww! It's so ugly."

Another joked: "Which TK Maxx was this please? Asking for a friend..."

A third sarcastically replied: "The detail is amazing. Really, erm, captured her... eyes?"

What's more, the strange statue has also caught the attention of members of the Facebook group who urged customers to "smash" the figurine.

Commenting on the Royals' unsettling likeness to other celebs, one critic wrote: "Why is Julie Andrew from the Sound of Music next to one of the Kardashians holding a baby James Corden please?"

Oh and did we mention that this figurine would have originally set you back £200? Love it or loathe it, you've got to appreciate TK Maxx.
