William and Harry’s ‘feud’ makes the Queen ‘very sad’ but she ‘won’t interfere with their lives’, claims royal editor
THE Queen “does not care” for the alleged feuding between Prince William and Prince Harry, a royal expert has claimed.
For months, the royal family has been plagued by rumours of a rift between the brothers, which was further fuelled by the split of their joint charity this month.
Speaking to Fabulous Digital, Ingrid Seward, editor-in-chief of Majesty Magazine, claims the Queen tries to keep out of any disputes.
She said: “Her Majesty does not care for the alleged feuding amongst her grandchildren William and Harry.
“That would make her very sad. But she would never interfere with their lives.”
Ingrid added that in the midst of the rumours of a feud, the Queen prefers to seek the company of her "down to earth" granddaughter Zara Tindall and her husband Mike.
Ingrid said: "They are certainly light relief. She can be herself around them."
Prince William and Prince Harry first established the Royal Foundation in 2009 before Kate Middleton joined two years later, shortly after the engagement was announced.
Over the years, the charity has focused on wildlife conservation and mental health as well as supporting the armed forces and young people.
A charity insider told : "At the start of last year, the plan was that all four would work together and I really believed in them as the power of four."
In February 2018, the Fab Four then attended the Royal Foundation forum together for what was the first and only time.

Rumours of a rift between the two couples have been circulating over the past few months, following the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's move to Frogmore Cottage in Windsor.
Before they welcomed baby Archie earlier this year, Harry and Meghan left their home within the Kensington Palace estate where they were living in close proximity to the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.
However, the two brothers reportedly fell out after Prince William's concerns over Meghan Markle reportedly "went down quite badly" with his brother.
