FROCK HORROR

Teen, 17, left in tears after the prom dress she bought online looks nothing like the picture

A TEENAGE girl was left in floods of tears after the prom dress she ordered online looked NOTHING like it did in the picture.

Alyssa paid £112 for the blush pink tulle dress which was supposed to be made to her exact measurements.

But when her "dream dress" arrived, the 17-year-old instantly realised that the colour and lace design were completely different to what she had ordered online.

What's more, the "massive" prom dress - which had supposedly been custom-made to Alyssa's shape - also sagged around her waist and lacked some of the intricate detail around the bust.

Describing how she could instantly tell something was wrong, Alyssa told : "When the package arrived, I ripped it open and it was inside out but straight away I could see that the colour wasn't right.

"When I turned it the right way, there are no words. I was so disappointed. The colour was completely wrong."

Although Alyssa immediately got in contact with the brand who designed the dress, they only offered her a 10 per cent refund due to the custom made nature of the garment.

With her prom coming up on Friday, Alyssa now wants to warn other shoppers to think carefully before ordering online.

She added: "I wouldn't want people to go through what I have been through. There has been so much stress as I have tried to find something that made me as excited as I was when I ordered that dress."

In more bonkers fashion news, this student who complained her swimsuit left her privates "hanging out"; was actually just wearing it upside down.

And a mum has been left baffled by a "dental floss" Boohoo swimsuit that features a "front thong".

Plus shoppers have mocked Fashion Nova's barely-there buckle-up romper and joked it's a "must for summer".
