Mum claims £2.50 sugar soap spray removed child’s pen marks from walls in minutes
A MUM has credited a £2.50 cleaning product for getting stubborn pen marks off her walls.
The woman posted impressive before and after pictures to Facebook group , run by money-saving expert Holly Smith.
It was Bartoline's sugar soap spray that the mum used to tackle her tarnished paintwork.
Captioning her post, she wrote: "I cannot recommend this enough... £2.50 from Morrisons I'm shook [sic].
"Previous tenant's young boy had drawn on the walls and had left marks where things had been and it didn't look good so tried this and WOW!!"
Her photos appeared to show that a number of unsightly black scribbles had been completely removed.
Other members of the group were clearly impressed with the results - the post has since racked up over 450 likes and 600 comments.
One said: "Omg I need this my girl has drawn all over the walls [sic]."
Others wrote: "Definitely need it in our house," and: "You've just saved me from re-painting my living room."
Some joined her in raving about the product, with one commenting: "You can't beat sugar soap been around since the 1950s."
"I used this 18 years ago to get a massive Thomas the Tank Engine outline off my son's bedroom wall (previous tenant started it but didn't finish it, thank the Lord)," another message read.
We might just have to add it to our cleaning cupboard.
