‘Creepy’ mother-in-law slammed after clutching her son around the waist in ‘gross’ wedding photo
A “RESENTFUL” bride has shared the “gross” snap of her mother-in-law clutching her new husband on her wedding day.
Taking to Reddit under the username Lonelylonerness the miffed newlywed shared the “creepy” photo taken on her big day.
In the snap, the new husband and wife stand next to each other with the bride resting her hand on her hubby’s waist – but look closer and you can see that his mum is doing the same.
In fact, the mother of the groom can be seen slipping two fingers in between the shirt buttons of her son’s dress shirt.
Captioning the bizarre snap the bride wrote: “My wedding photo. I'm the other woman.”
And fellow Redditors were equally disturbed by the photograph, which received hundreds of comments bolstering the bride.
“Gross dude. Her hand is even under the tie... to get even closer to him?” wrote one.
Another agreed adding: “It's creepy, and although she thinks she's going unnoticed, it's an epic fail lol.”
A third added: “OMFG that hand of hers does NOT need to be there!”
The anonymous woman admitted that she still gets “angry when she looks at them” and that her mother-in-law “made the whole day about her.”
She also confessed that her husband and his mum’s relationship could occasionally be “inappropriate” and he slept in her bed until he was 15 but she puts it down to cultural differences.
MIL gave him an ultimatum about a month ago that resulted in her getting cut out and not me

She added: “There's definitely still lingering resentment we're working through but he has come so far.
“He shows me how much he loves me and I know he would do anything for me. Honestly, I thought it was a cultural thing I didn't understand for a long time before the whole thing just seemed really f***ed up.”
The thread took a dramatic twist when she revealed that her mother-in-law had now ended contact with her son.
She said: “MIL gave him an ultimatum about a month ago that resulted in her getting cut out and not me.”
The photo was shared on the subreddit r/JUSTNOMIL.
The group has 931,000 members and is described as "a place to get support and advice dealing with mean, nasty, toxic, and/or abusive MILs and moms."
