Mother-of-the-groom slammed for clinging onto her son in wedding photo – after having her hair done in the SAME style as the bride and wearing a long white dress
A WEDDING guest has slammed a mother-of-the-groom after she was spotted clinging to her son in the official pictures.
To make matters worse she chose to wear a floor-length white gown in the snap and even had her hair styled identically to the bride.
The photo was shared on by user manbearpig102 who was outraged after seeing the official snaps.
Captioning the photo they wrote: “The groom's mom had her hair done the same way as the bride, wore an almost white long dress, and is clinging to the groom for dear life.”
Sure enough, in the photo the groom’s mum poses alongside him with her arms wrapped around his.
Like her daughter-in-law she has chosen to wear a sleeveless, white, lace gown and has opted for an identical up-do to the bride.
And it seems that fellow Redditors were equally outraged with the picture receiving hundreds of comments.
One wrote: “Honestly, she looks so similar to the bride, it's like the groom has two wives. Eww.”
“Brides who put up with this s*** are saints, honestly. This man just committed himself to HER and here goes mommy dearest refusing to acknowledge facts” wrote another.
A third simply commented: “Holy hell. This is so disturbing.”
“I had to look twice to work out which one was the bride” said a forth.
The photo was shared on the subreddit r/JUSTNOMIL.

This is not the first mother-in-law has ruffled feathers on her son's big day.
Yesterday we told you about a mother-of-the-groom who held her son around the waist in "gross" wedding photo.
In other wedding news, we told you how a bride split opinion after asking if a low-cut wedding dress is too revealing - with some labelling it "inappropriate."
While this bride was blasted for demanding her NINE bridesmaids spend £470 on their dresses and ‘start saving now’ for her lavish overseas hen do.
