Bride’s ‘coffee-stained’ wedding gown is shamed online by her best mate
A BRIDE’S unique wedding dress has been mocked online with the brown pattern compared to a ‘coffee stain’.
Unusual dresses are growing in popularity, with women rocking coloured, dip-dye and even ‘naked’ dresses down the aisle.
But one bride-to-be went for natural wedding dress made out of hemp, which features large patches of brown.
The gown has been compared to a giant coffee stain, although some people have said it looks more like tea.
And it seems the woman’s friends aren’t on board with the colour scheme either, with a pal uploading snaps of the dress to Facebook.
It ended up on Facebook group , where she said: “So she feels beautiful and loves her dress, which is ultimately what matters.
“However, all I see is what looks like a giant coffee stain on the front.”
Sharing a post from the bride herself, she gushed over her unique gown and asked for recommendations for accessories.
She wrote: “I’ve picked up my dress! I’m so excited… but I’m really torn on accessories and make-up.
“I was going to go for quite a natural look, but I love a bold lip too.”
“What would you do for a fall wedding with this dress?
“And would you add any jewellery?
“It’s an outdoor olive grove wedding and the dress is made from hemp, so everything will be simple and natural”
The post has racked up dozens of comments, with the majority of people comparing her frock to a spilled cup of coffee.
One person said: “Did she spill coffee all over it before posting these?”
Another commented: “Why does it look like she has spilt a bucket of tea down it??”
A third wrote: “Coffee down her front, period down her back who TF thought this was a good idea."
Someone else thought: “It could be nice but the front is gross and it does look like she spilt a pot of coffee.”
This person commented: “Is that a napkin soaked in coffee?”
And another added: “Looks like a huge coffee stain!”
