  • Tropical Duvet Set, £16.99 from Aldi -
  • Cactus Bay Duvet Cover, £140 from Trouva -

No question about it - tropical bedding is all the rage at the moment.

But while a certain palm-print design will set you back an eye-watering £140 on Trouva, Aldi has brought out a more purse-friendly alternative for just £17.

And it goes without saying that this a pretty unrivalled price for a kingsize duvet set - yet alone one that will look this good on Instagram. Just saying.

  • PALMERAL  Cotton Leaf-print cushion, £165 from House of Hackney -

But if you already have your fair share of spare bedding (guilty as charged), then why not pick up one of Aldi's matching tropical cushions?

In comparison to this bank-breaking £165 leaf-print pillow from House of Hackney, Aldi's alternative costs just £6.99.

And if you ask us, the budget-friendly blue and green palm-print cushion will make for a much more chic addition to your living room than the dark green designer alternative.

The new tropical collection has also got your every door mat need covered, thanks to their range of fruity and foliage-inspired designs.

We're nothing short of obsessed with the brand's £5 lemon door mat which has "squeeze the day" printed on the front. Personally, we can't think of a better way to start our day than with this cracking pun.

Or if you're wanting to brighten up your hallway with a cute watermelon slice, Aldi's £5 design has a cute gold 'hello' written on the front to distinguish it from Trouva's plain £28 offering.

  • Kirton House Black Lantern,  £19.99 from Aldi -
  • Black Metal and Glass Lantern, £88 from Maisons Du Monde -

With BBQ season in full swing, Aldi has also brought out some seriously great outdoor lighting dupes for a fraction of the designer cost.

While a black metal lantern from Maisons Du Monde will set you back a staggering £88, the bargain supermarket has brought out an exact dupe for just £20.

And if that wasn't enough, Aldi's 14 exposed bulb lamp is so similar to the £36 Oliver Bonas offering that we can't even spot any noticeable difference between the two. Sold.

For more  amazing homeware buys, Aldi's £24.99 concrete lamp  is a dupe for Oliver Bonas' offering - but it's £70 cheaper.

And Lidl are selling a pineapple lamp just like Amanda Holden's for just £12.99  - and it's giving us a  serious tropical vibe.

Plus Aldi's stylish homeware  line features a velvet footstool and geometric cushion - and it's £94 CHEAPER than the designer version.
