It is understood the new royal mum spent her special day on August 4th at Frogmore Cottage in Windsor with family, including Prince Harry, 34, and three-month-old son Archie.

However, while the occasion was believed to be low-key, have reported that Meghan was delivered a cake from Luminary Bakery.

Now, royal correspondent Omid Scobie has shared a snap of the carrot cake on Twitter.

In the image, it can be seen decorated with citrus fruit and 'Happy Birthday Meghan' icing.

Also in shot is a copy of the September issue of British Vogue, which Meghan guest-edited and highlighted the bakery in as one of her good causes to support.

Scobie captioned his picture: "Thanks so much to Alice Williams and the awesome team at in London for letting us join them last weekend as they created Duchess Meghan’s beautiful carrot birthday cake.

"’s dedication to helping women from disadvantaged backgrounds get their lives back on track is impressive.

"And the social enterprise (one of Meghan’s ) is growing fast — they announced a cookbook today and have a second location opening soon!"

The bakery's cakes start at £45, and include flavours such as salted caramel, chocolate, lemon and blueberry.

They are based in Stoke Newington, and offer skills training, paid employment and a supportive community for women who have experienced poverty, homelessness, violence or criminal activity.

Harry marked Meghan’s birthday with an Instagram post: “Happy Birthday to my amazing wife. Thank you for joining me on this adventure! Love, H.”

After featuring the bakery as one of her 'Forces For Change' in the Vogue issue, the Duchess followed up with a sweet handwritten note, thanking them for their work.
