Wedding guest shamed for RSVPing for 21 people despite only being given a plus one

A WEDDING guest has been slammed for RSVPing for 21 additional guests, despite only being given a plus one on the invitation.

Taking to , user puppypuppyl0v3 shared a snap of the invite to the ceremony which took place on 21st August.

The woman in question has included herself, her partner, 16 adults, four children.

She also put forward two song requests in the form of Follow Me by Aly Us and Before I Let Go by Beyoncé.

Captioning the snap, the redditor wrote: “Yeah let me just RSVP for TWENTY ONE+ MORE PEOPLE.”

And fellow users were equally outraged, complaining about the “audacity” of the guest in the comments.

One said: “I'm so shocked, that's all I have. Just...the audacity of some people. Why would they think this is ok??”

Another wrote: “Is this a joke that backfired...? How did they come up with 21 more people?”

“I would circle "decline"; and send it back” said a third.

Another agreed adding: "Were those other people invited or are they just inviting them along? If the latter, mail back an invoice for the cost of each additional guest."

The photo was shared on the subreddit r/weddingshaming.

The group has almost 30,000 members and is described as a "place to shame wedding themes, brides, grooms, wedding party, in-laws, outlaws, guests, Uncle Bob, vendors... you name it, we shame it!"
