The TV channel dedicated to 24/7 Christmas films is coming back to get you in the festive mood – and it’s starting in September
CHRISTMAS really is coming early this year for fans of festive films - as the TV channel dedicated to showing 24/7 Christmas classics is returning in September.
Previously known as True Christmas, the Sony Movies Christmas channel will be showing the UK's best loved x-mas films and even new premiers from September 10th.
To get you into the holiday spirit - and keep you in it until the end of January - Santa isn't the only one working hard, with the Sony channel filling up their schedule with plenty of Christmas content.
Featuring a full-day schedule of Yuletide delights, it's ideal to have on in the background while start decorating the house already, or while prepping presents early this year.
And while it's a given that all the classics, from Elf to The Polar Express, will be showing frequently - there's even some content never-seen-before on the channel set to hit our screens.
Premiere's include the Holiday Road Trip, Silver Bells and the 2004 film Christmas With the Kranks, starring Tim Allen and Jamie Lee Curtis.
Sony Movies Christmas will also be setting up themed weekends for viewers to enjoy - including 'Bah Humbug', Christmas Animals, Santa Sunday and Christmas Comedy nights.
To truly get you into the festive spirit, every night from 7pm, emotional movies will be lined up - from Moonlight & Mistletoe to All I Want Is Christmas - so have your hankies at the ready!
Whatever you tune into, make sure you're ready to kick back with mince pies and mulled wine - as with films following one after the others, it makes for a great Christmas-themed night in.
The Sony Movies channel is available to watch 24/7 on Freeview 50, Sky 319, Virgin 424 and Freesat 303.
