Creative mum transforms her ‘rainbow baby’s’ bedroom for £8 with touching ‘rainbow wall’
A MUM has made a touching tribute to her "rainbow baby" by creating a beautiful rainbow-themed wall in his bedroom.
A "rainbow baby" is the name given to a baby born shortly after a child was lost through miscarriage, stillbirth or neonatal death.
Taking to Facebook, the mum explained how she created the feature wall for just £8 using masking tape and tester pots of paint.
Posting on the , she shared an image of the gorgeous design, writing: "Rainbow wall for my rainbow baby boy... cost me around £8 to do."
In the comments, the mum explained she used £1.50 masking tape from Wilko as well as seven different tester paint pots to achieve the look.
And fellow shoppers were seriously impressed, with several taking to the comments section to praise the mum on her "beautiful idea".
“This term is given to these special rainbow babies because a rainbow typically follows a storm, giving us hope of what’s to come.”
