Wedding guests upstage the bride and groom by taking a daft selfie in the background of their photograph
A BRIDE and groom were upstaged by their wedding guests who were spotted taking a daft selfie in the background of a photo.
Taking to , user 1m2n3b4 shared the offending image which sees the couple poking their tongues out in the background of the black and white snap.
Captioning the black and white snap, they wrote: “How to ruin a wedding photo.”
And fellow redditors seemed equally outraged at the pair who have taken focus from the newlyweds.
“Yep. Totally ruined” wrote one, with another commenting, “Selfish p****s.”
A third said: I'm so glad I got married juuuuuust before selfies were a thing. I know the comments here are defending it, but honestly it looks so stupid from the outside.”
Another agreed adding: “My friend has banned all photo taking until the evening for this exact reason.”
However, several Reddit users could not see the problem with the image, arguing that it was just a candid shot from the day.
One wrote: “It's a candid shot. One of probably hundreds that were taken for that event alone.
“If all my wedding pictures were perfectly framed, in focus, and showed everyone behaving impeccably, I'd demand to know what happened to the ‘real’ pics.”
Another agreed adding: “In all seriousness, every photo tells a story. It looks to me like a group of happy people having fun at a wedding.”
