The highest earning kid influencers revealed – including the seven-year-old YouTuber worth £17.7 MILLION
THE HIGHEST earning kid influencers have been revealed, and some of them are worth as much as £17million at just seven years old.
The inaugural list features global child influencers and is based on how much each earns from their work online.
The list has been curated by , which analysed data to reveal the list of the highest paid child influencers on social media, including YouTube and Instagram.
Influencers make money from a mix of adverts, brand collaborations, sponsored posts and stories, affiliate links, and public appearances across a variety of online channels.
Here we reveal the top ten wealthiest – and they’re all under 16.
1. RYAN KAJI
YouTube star Ryan Kaji comes out top with a net worth of £17.7 million.
The seven-year-old made his name through his YouTube channel Ryan ToysReview which he started at the age of three and has nearly 21.5 million subscribers.
Megastar Ryan and his family, who live in the US, started up the channel in March 2015.
Then aged just four, Ryan was a big fan of toy-review videos and asked his mum and dad if he could post his own clips on YouTube.
In July 2015, a video of Ryan opening up and giving his verdict on a box of more than 100 toys from Disney Pixar's Cars series went viral, receiving almost 935 million views.
His mum then quit her job as a chemistry teacher to help develop his channel.
It’s since grown into an empire, branching out into spin-off channels, digital characters and the odd food review.
In August 2018, Ryan teamed up with American retailer Walmart to produce his own toy line called Ryan’s World.
Ryan makes just shy of £2,000 an hour and slightly less than a dollar every single second.
However, the youngster’s channel was probed earlier this year by advertising watchdog Truth in Advertising who complained Ryan’s audience were too young to tell the difference between a paid for ad and a review.
