Mum makes incredible KFC-themed cake for her chicken-loving son including chips and a burger

A MUM baked an incredible KFC-themed birthday cake for her son featuring chips, wings and even a burger. 

She revealed her lad loved the fast food chain, so she decided to bring it to life for him on his big day.

She baked her own version of a KFC meal, only using a chip and gravy packet, as well as the meal box, as props. 

The realistic creation was inspired by a Zinger Meal – her son’s favourite – and it looks as good as the real thing.

Sharing a snap on Facebook group , she explained how she’d brought her son’s favourite meal to life. 

She wrote: “Everything is cake apart from the chip and meal box, the drink and the potato and gravy container, which has cake in it also.”

To create the chips the mum cut up pieces of sponge cake and put them in a KFC container.

And she used cornflakes with white chocolate to get the chicken wings to look extra crispy.

Finally she dusted the burger bun with icing sugar and sesame seeds to make it look as realistic as possible. 

For the gravy she washed out the tub and popped some chocolate cake in it. 

After presenting it to her son, she confirmed he got the real thing for his dinner too.

She added: “And can you guess what he had for tea too, that’s right – a Zinger box!”

And this mum-to-be’s gender reveal cake showing a foot on her tummy is compared to something very rude instead.
