IF you're struggling to get your hands on some essential food items, or you simply don't want to brave the supermarket to stock up, then listen up - because you can make butter at home using just ONE ingredient.
TikTok user Georgie Halfacree, from London often shares hacks on her page for making home cooking fun and easy and above all else, affordable, and her latest video has us questioning why we ever bought butter to begin with.

Georgie, previously shared another video of herself making oat milk from scratch, which racked up two million views on the video sharing platform.
But now, in her latest video, the content creator shared how to make homemade butter using just a carton of double cream and a mason jar.
To make butter, the foodie revealed that it's as simple as shaking up a packet of double cream until it forms the consistency of butter.
While many might throw out a carton once it's reached it's used by date, the foodie said: "don't even think about binning double cream right now"
Simply pour the double cream into a mason jar, and fit the lid and continue to shake it - which will eventually give you whipped cream.
After lots of shaking (lots and lots of shaking), the cream turns into butter and she pours away the excess liquid - what she refers to as the "butter milk".
She then puts the butter into a bowl of cold water and then squeezes all the water out before shaping the butter using two paddles, but explains that it can be done using a spoon instead.
She finished by adding a pinch of salt to the butter (okay, so that's two ingredients) - but says you can jazz it up anyway you like by using herbs or spices.
Last week we shared her oat milk recipe - and all you need is oats and water, and a blender plus something to strain the mixture with, ideally a muslin cloth.
Sharing the video on her channel, Georgia said: “I’m going to show you guys how to make it from scratch using two ingredients and it’s way better.
“Add 75g of oats to a blender, add one litre of fresh water.
“Now I'm just adding two pitted dates for sweetness but you can add honey if you want.
Then simply blend for 30-45 seconds and drain through a muslin cloth.
