I worked in Subway – here’s the sandwich orders that freak staff out, I judge you if you eat them
A FORMER Subway worker has revealed the sandwich orders that freaked staff out the most.
With so many different food options, it takes a truly strange request to upset the rhythm of servers.
But an ex-employee at a Glasgow branch, who wishes to remain anonymous, has described the ultimate example of someone having an acquired taste.
She said: “Tuna with meats always freaked me out.
“Like a BMT with extra tuna wasn’t great.
“And the veggie patty also always just looked inedible to me.
“Also people who ordered nearly every sauce we had on the menu.
“It’s total sensory overload.”
But no matter how strange an order was, staff had to always keep their opinions to themselves.
Of course, it was a different rule entirely for customers.

The ex-worker reckons there was one constant complaint that annoyed herself and colleagues the most.
She adds: “A lot of the complaints were that the sandwiches got cold quickly.
“But there really was nothing we could do about that.”
We previously told how a Scots Come Dine With Me star managed to spend £28 on a single sandwich in Subway - after ordering every ingredient on the menu.
Darren Dowling, better known as Dazza online, has been taking part in different food investigations on social media over the last week.
Feeling particularly carnivorous, he took the unusual step of ordering a sub with every single type of meat that was available - as well as every single salad choice and sauce option.
The mammoth meat feast cost a crazy £27.99 after the initial chicken strips were upgraded to also include egg, ham, bacon, chicken tikka, salami, pepperoni, steak and cheese and chicken nachos.
To top it all off, Darren opted for some hash browns and crispy onions as well.
