One savvy shopper spotted the cheap dupe when shopping in his local Morrisons.

Pleased with his find - the £7 Millie’s Cookie dupe - Simon Cook proudly took to Facebook to show off his brilliant buy, leaving many open-mouthed. 

Posting in the Facebook group, , which has 2.2million members, the thrilled shopper shared a snap of his purchase, as he explained: “People wanna see a bargain...

“How about £7 for a personalised huge cookie that tastes out of this world from Morrisons or you can go to Millie’s Cookies and pay FROM £22.99.

“I have put a screenshot of the Morrisons page so you can see more information.”

Simon shared a picture holding his personalised giant cookie, which cost just £7.

Written in blue icing, the delicious cookie read: ‘Happy Birthday Simon x’.

For those that have been lucky enough to get a personalised Millie’s Cookie on their birthday before, you’ll know that they are really tasty, but for £22.99, they don’t come cheap.

However, thanks to Morrisons, you can save a whopping £15.99 on this sweet treat, which looks almost identical to the pricey alternative.

Simon shared his post 15 hours ago, but it has quickly amassed 155 likes and 73 comments. 

Many food fans shared their thoughts on the dupe buy in the comments.

One person said: “I bought these as teacher's gifts for my children. They were a big hit.”

Another added: “I got one for mine and my sisters birthday a few weeks ago. Huge and tasted amazing.”

A third commented: “I second this, been getting them for about a year for birthdays anniversary’s etc. They are fab.”
