Parents scrambling to Asda to nab new kid’s toy that’s a must for foodies – and some are already stocking up for Xmas

PARENTS across the UK are racing to Asda after the supermarket introduced a new toy for all the young foodies - and it's perfect for birthdays and Christmas.

Children love to pretend they're whipping you up a scrumptious meal - and now retailer Asda has added a new toy to their collection that'll make the tots go wild... and parents are loving it too.

The latest toy to hit the shelves is a mini toy air fryer that was spotted by mum Kayleigh Brassington, who took to Facebook to inform others.

According to , shared on the popular , the plastic air fryer sells for £14.

To make the toy even better, it also comes with some fake food, such as a toy chicken, as well as some chips.

The air fryer has one compartment that kids can pull out, as well as a display of buttons for various settings.

The multi-coloured toy is  15 x 17 x 20 cm in size, , and requires a 1.5V AA battery that's also included in the set.

Needless to say, the news was welcome amongst parents, more than 1.3k of whom liked the post.

Over 1.8k raced to comments, where many couldn't get over how adorable the design was.

One tagged their pals and said: ''these are so cute haha!''

Another joked: ''About the only air fryer I could actually afford.''

Meanwhile, some reckoned the toy air fryer would make for the perfect prezzie for both the festive season in winter and birthday.

''might get baby this for Christmas,'' a Facebook user said.
