Where can I buy a Cadbury’s Creme Egg TRIFLE? The ‘sharing dessert’ that won’t help your January diet
It is a ‘sharing dessert’ - but it's up to you how much you decide to share...
CADBURY has launched a Creme Egg trifle – and it looks egg-cellent.
The chocolate-tastic pudding is made up of several layers – a chocolate base, chocolate mousse, chocolate chip cookies and a fondant, creamy topping.
Where can you buy Cadbury's Creme Egg trifle?
It is a ‘sharing dessert’, and will cost around £3.50 in most major supermarkets and local shops.
The new treat is accurately named “Layers of Joy".
Cadbury has described their newest indulgent creation as: “A layered sharing dessert with Cadbury milk chocolate dessert, chocolate mousse, chocolate chip cookie and fondant dessert with a creamy topping,”
Cadbury also revealed it has made a white chocolate version of its much-loved creme egg - and if you find one you could win £2,000.
But Cadbury isn't making it easy - egg lovers will have to hunt out the white eggs as they’ll be camouflaged in the same packaging as a classic one.
The eggs are the same as the original version with a gooey fondant yolk centre, except the shell is made out of white chocolate.
The white eggs are already in shops, including local newsagents, Sainsbury's Local, Tesco Express and Co-op and will be around until April 1.
There are believed to be around 371 white eggs in these shops.
The Sun Online has asked Cadbury to confirm these numbers.
