People are going mad about this ‘Greggs full English breakfast bake’
GREGGS fans are in a frenzy over a picture of a 'full English breakfast bake'.
The beloved bakery chain shared a picture of what looks like a new pastry option containing beans, a runny fried egg and a rasher of bacon on Twitter - and immediately people were demanding to know where to get one.
They tweeted: "Full English bake-fast anyone? #greggshack."
One pasty fan tweeted: "Hi how many RTs will it take for me to get a free 1year supply of this full English breakfast bake?"
Greggs then sadly had to tell him that "it's not actually a thing", and in reality it was just a suped-up sausage and bean melt that someone had 'hacked' by filling with other fried breakfast staples.
However, a comment from Greggs further down the post - which has got almost 700 likes and 300 retweets - did hint that the fry-up revolution might happen.
One cynical Twitter user commented: "Can't image you'd get all the elements of a full English but sounds interesting."
They replied: "We'd give it a go."
But, you can't please everyone.
One Twitter user sneered: "delicious, ( if you're blind ) and have had your taste buds removed."
